Description

We are looking for a skilled Manual Tester to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing methodologies and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test cases based on functional specifications.
Identify, record, and track bugs and issues using a bug tracking tool.
Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features do not break existing functionality.
Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to discuss testing progress and challenges.

Skills and Qualifications

3-10 years of experience in Manual Testing.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Ability to understand and analyze requirements, specifications, and design documents.
Good knowledge of SQL and ability to perform database testing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
