We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products before they reach our customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the development and production teams to understand product requirements and execute rigorous testing across all stages of the product lifecycle. Your insights will directly contribute to delivering safe, high-performance products that meet our quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities• Gather and review product requirements, including functional specifications, safety standards, and testing protocols.
• Monitor all phases of production to verify that established safety procedures are consistently followed.
• Conduct quality control checks on individual components as well as finished products.
• Design and set up test environments and create comprehensive test cases for products and PCBAs.
• Analyse test results to identify defects, investigate root causes, and document findings.
• Record and report pass/fail outcomes for all tested units in a clear and traceable manner.
• Propose actionable improvements and corrective fixes based on test observations.
• Support developers in reproducing and diagnosing reported bugs.
• Maintain thorough documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and lessons learned.
• Develop and maintain automated testing systems to enable consistent and repeatable quality checks.
• Ensure all products and processes are compliant with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Train and guide team members on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Competencies• Solid understanding of PCB design principles and the ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Hands-on experience testing complex PCBs incorporating both analog and digital components.
• Proficiency in operating test and measurement equipment such as digital oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Soldering skills are an added advantage.
• Proven ability to work accurately under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
• Dependable, conscientious, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong team player with excellent collaborative and communication skills.
QualificationsDiploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
