We are looking for a detail-oriented manual tester with at least 2 years of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through thorough testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyse requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, and system testing).
- Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Execute test cases and document results clearly.
- Participate in test planning and review meetings.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards before release.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
- Experience in functional and regression testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, etc. )
- Understanding of automation tools (Selenium is optional).
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
