Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Manual Tester to join our Product & Technology team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications by executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Validate UI/UX flows across web and mobile platforms.
- Conduct API testing (basic level knowledge preferred).
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure high-quality releases within timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 14 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC.
- Experience in writing detailed test cases and bug reports.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
- Knowledge of SQL basics for data validation.
- Understanding of web and mobile application testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
