Manual Tester

We are looking for a Manual Tester with hands-on experience in API Testing and SQL to join our QA team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing life cycle, excellent analytical skills, and experience working closely with development and product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data integrity and support testing activities.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in regression, integration, and system testing.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong experience with API Testing (e.g., using Postman, REST, JSON).
• Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and defect management processes.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good to Have:

• Experience in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured).
• Exposure to performance or security testing.
• ISTQB Certification is a plus.
