We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Manual Testers to join our growing team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in software testing, defect tracking, test case creation, and ensuring high-quality software releases. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with development, product, and business teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements.
- Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure closure of reported issues.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Validate web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Prepare test execution reports and provide testing status updates.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards before production releases.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
- Experience in test case creation and execution.
- Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
- Understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Basic knowledge of API testing.
- Exposure to SQL/database validation.
- Understanding of automation testing concepts is an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
