About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality product releases through effective testing practices.Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to derive test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute Functional, System, Integration, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA feedback.
- Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing best practices.
- Support release validation and post-deployment verification activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT Testing.
- Ability to create test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and defect reports.
- Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience testing web-based and enterprise applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with API Testing using Postman.
- Knowledge of SQL and Database Testing.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of Automation Testing concepts and frameworks.
