Role: Manual QA Tester

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: Long Term

Work Hours: IST (overlap through 1:00pm EST)

Work Schedule: 3:30am-11:30am ET

Location: Hybrid - (3x days onsite/week in Pune, India)

We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester with strong Guidewire PolicyCenter and Insurance domain experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system, integration, regression, and policy lifecycle testing within Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements and create detailed test cases and test scripts
• Execute system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Validate Guidewire PolicyCenter functionality and policy workflows
• Perform rating validation and policy lifecycle testing
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams
• Support quality initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA testing experience
• Guidewire PolicyCenter testing experience
• Insurance industry experience
• P&C insurance domain knowledge
• Experience with rating validation/testing
• Experience testing web applications, portals, APIs, and integrations
• Strong defect management and test documentation skills

Nice-to-Have

• TFS / MTM experience
• Selenium, QTP, or other automation tool exposure
• SQL, XML, or VBScript knowledge
