Position Overview:

This is a full-time Manual QA Tester role located on-site in Mumbai. The Manual QA Tester will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases to ensure the quality and performance of software systems, particularly in the Capital Market domain. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing requirements, identifying potential risks or issues, manually testing applications, ensuring test coverage, and documenting defects or issues for resolution. Collaboration with developers and project teams to improve processes and drive project success is an essential aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.

* Develop Test Scenarios/Test Cases and Test Reports on multiple projects.

* Review of Test Scenarios/Test Cases

* Execute test Scenarios & Test Cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

* Reporting & Tracking Defects/Bugs.

* Reporting and documenting technical issues

* Report bugs and errors to development team

* Preparation of Test Reports

* Co-ordination with Developers and Team Members

* Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.

* Candidate should be aware of SDLC and STLC.

* Knowledge of Automation Testing & Load Testing tools like Appium, JMeter

* Knowledge of test tracking tools like Mantis, Bugzilla, Redmine, JIRA

Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Manual Testing and Test Execution
• Proficiency in creating and executing Test Cases
• Solid understanding of Quality Assurance principles and practices
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Familiarity with Capital Market domain knowledge is a plus
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Previous experience in testing financial systems is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
