Manual QA Engineer

Mumzworld is the largest and most trusted digital commerce platform for families in the region processing hundreds of thousands of orders monthly across multiple countries in the MENA region.

Now, we're building the region's most ambitious Super App for families combining e-commerce, quick commerce, pharmacy, healthcare, beauty, education, and home services into a single unified platform.

To support this vision, we're launching a new technology hub in Bangalore. As part of the foundational QA team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and scalability of systems used by millions. What You'll Do

• Analyze product requirements and design comprehensive, well-structured manual test cases

• Execute functional, regression, sanity, exploratory, and ad-hoc testing for web and mobile applications

• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experience across platforms

• Identify, record, and track defects using tools such as Jira; collaborate with developers for timely fixes

• Conduct root cause analysis of critical issues and recommend process improvements

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and fellow QA engineers to ensure smooth project execution

• Deliver training, demos, or walkthroughs of test scenarios to QA peers and stakeholders when needed

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 4+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer

• Mandatory: at least 1 year of experience in the e-commerce industry

• Strong background in manual testing of web and mobile applications (iOS/Android)

• Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, and reporting

• Strong understanding of functional and UI testing practices

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative

• Strong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally

Bonus Points For

• ISTQB, CSTE, or similar QA certifications

• Experience collaborating in fast-paced, high-transaction environments

• Exposure to performance, usability, or accessibility testing practices

• Ability to document and present test results to non-technical stakeholders
