Roles and Responsibilities:

Automation Test Design & Execution

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts usingSelenium or Playwright.
• Ensure automation coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.

Test Framework Development

• Design and maintain robust, reusable automation frameworks.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and product owners to understand requirements.
• Report defects clearly, track bug fixes, and validate resolved issues.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify bottlenecks in automation processes and propose improvements.
• Keep up-to-date with latest automation tools and best practices.

Documentation

• Prepare test plans, test cases, and automation strategy documents.
• Maintain clear logs of test execution and results.

Mentoring & Leadership (Optional for Senior Roles)

• Guide junior QA engineers on automation best practices.
• Participate in code reviews for test scripts.
