Job Summary
The Manager, Workers Compensation is responsible for directing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team supporting various functions within Workers Compensation. These responsibilities include directing, mentoring, reviewing and approving work of Associates, Analysts & Sr Analysts. The Manager is responsible for resolving escalated issues as they arise and is expected to quickly develop a thorough understanding of Workers Compensation processes including pricing, classifications, claims management, forecasting, and the department's data systems. This role will be expected to develop deep expertise in Workers Compensation processes, managed by India-based colleagues, ensuring seamless integration with U.S. operations while driving operational excellence and cultivating a collaborative culture.
Essential Duties/Responsibilites
- Directs and oversees the day-to day activities of the India-based team assigned to support all aspects of Workers Compensation including pricing, classification, operations, risk mitigation and data utilization.
- Continuous development of the team on aspects of Workers Compensation and how it supports TriNet and our clients.
- Actively engaged with US based leadership team to drive the strategic direction and activity with the India-based team.
- First point of contact for escalated cases within the team with a goal of timely resolution.
- Monitor team capacity and assist when needed with various tasks, continually engaging with the US Workers Compensation leadership team for alignment.
- Create and set goals for the team that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement actionable strategies and track progress to help meet those goals.
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue generation, as well as areas that can be re-engineered to gain greater efficiency.
- Work cross functionally to identify and implement improved processes and procedures.
- Fosters a learning culture within the team focused on coaching, regular feedback, accountability, and development that energizes colleagues.

Qualifications
Education
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in finance, business or other relevant area require
WorkExperience
- Preferred Typically 5+ years of experience leading high performing teams, directly or indirectly required
- Demonstated experience working in a matrixed management model collaborating with US stakeholders required
- Experience working with US based risk products highly desired
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Excellent ability to regularly engage with the US based Workers Compensation leadership team in order to drive the strategy and impact with the India based team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, highly collaborative.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the proven ability to prepare spreadsheets using formulas
