Job Title: Warehouse Manager

To independently manage and control all warehouse operations including inward, storage, inventory management, dispatch planning, compliance, and cost optimization, ensuring uninterrupted production support and timely dispatch to customers and inter-unit locations.
- Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee daily inward and outward material movements.
- Ensure proper unloading, verification, and GRN processing.
- Plan and supervise dispatch activities including vehicle scheduling.
- Ensure no unnecessary double handling or secondary transport movements.
- Maintain efficient warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO compliance where applicable.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Purchase, and Planning teams.
- Inventory Control & ERP Management
- Ensure accurate stock accounting in ERP (SAP / Tally / In-house ERP).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and monthly physical stock verification.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Monitor ageing inventory and slow-moving materials.
- Ensure proper batch tracking and documentation.
- Dispatch & Transport Compliance
- Ensure only fully covered, compliant vehicles are used for dispatch.
- Verify vehicle condition before loading.
- Ensure proper loading supervision and sealing procedures.
- Avoid pilferage risks through strict gate control.
- Optimize vehicle utilization and dispatch planning.
- Monitor and control transport costs.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce warehouse SOPs strictly.
- Ensure safety compliance (PPE, fire safety, forklift safety).
- Control unauthorized personnel movement in loading areas.
- Ensure discipline among contract labour and transport drivers.
- Ensure compliance with pollution control norms (if applicable).
- Cost Control & Efficiency
- Reduce idle labour time and loading delays.
- Avoid secondary transport costs due to poor planning.
- Optimize manpower deployment.
- Track and report operational KPIs.
- Team Management
- Lead warehouse supervisors and operators.
- Monitor contractor performance.
- Enforce discipline and productivity standards.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Train team on SOPs and compliance requirements.

- Required Qualifications
- Graduate (Mandatory)
- Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics (Preferred)
- 712 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Minimum 35 years in independent WH handling role
- Experience in manufacturing setup preferred
