The Team
Our DTS team covers the full breadth of Technology Consulting and M&A services, including -
- Technology M&A and Strategy - Assist clients to manage the technology aspects and business enablement of complex M&A, integrations and carve-outs as well as post-deal value creation
- Technology Consulting End to end technology advisory for clients, including developing technology roadmaps, platform/cloud/data advisory as well as transformation excellence for a digital transformation
- Data & AI services - Helping clients in harnessing the power of data and cutting-edge analytics to drive intelligent decision-making and transform businesses
- Develop GenAI and Agentic AI solutions that create real business value for clients through process re-invention
How You Will Contribute
The
Lead/ Senior UI/UX Engineer is a critical role responsible for designing and delivering
intuitive, scalable, and enterprise-grade user experiences for AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions. This role sits at the intersection of
design, frontend engineering, and AI-driven workflows, ensuring that complex AI capabilities are presented to users in a
usable, explainable, and trustworthy manner. This role exists to prevent failures by enforcing strong UX discipline, thoughtful interaction design, and production-quality frontend engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- UI/UX Architecture & Design Systems
- Define and own frontend architecture, design systems, and state management strategies for AI-driven applications
- Design scalable UI component libraries that ensure consistency, accessibility, and enterprise branding compliance
- Lead end-to-end product design including discovery, personas, user flows, IA, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes in Figma
- Partner with product, AI, and engineering teams to translate functional requirements into intuitive user journeys
- Ensure design systems support rapid iteration, accessibility standards, and long-term maintainability
- AI-Driven UX & Interaction Design
- Design AI-specific UX patterns that promote trust and adoption, including confidence indicators, explainability views, feedback loops, and progressive disclosure
- Design conversational and multimodal interfaces for copilots, dashboards, and agent-driven workflows
- Ensure AI interactions are human-centered, transparent, and context-aware
- Plan and conduct user research and usability testing; synthesize insights into clear design decisions
- Deliver developer-ready specifications and support smooth design-to-development handoff
- Frontend Engineering & Implementation
- Build production-grade frontend applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js aligned with enterprise standards
- Implement workflow-driven UI states, authentication and RBAC, and real-time or near-real-time updates
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, AI orchestration services, and data platforms
- Ensure frontend code is modular, maintainable, performant, and well-teste
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for frontend delivery and deploy applications on Azure cloud services
- Apply modern React and Next.js patterns including App Router, Server Components, hooks, and state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand)
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
- Usability, Accessibility & Performance
- Ensure compliance with usability and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA, responsiveness, cross-browser support)
- Optimize frontend performance for low-latency AI interactions and high concurrency
- Use qualitative and quantitative UX metrics to continuously improve experience quality
- Champion design operations, consistency, and continuous improvement
- Observability, Quality & Reliability
- Integrate frontend telemetry, logging, and error tracking to monitor user behavior, failures, and performance
- Partner with QA teams on functional testing, UI automation, regression testing, and UAT readiness
- Security, Governance & Enterprise Readiness
- Implement frontend security best practices including secure authentication, session handling, and protection against XSS/CSRF
- Ensure frontend designs and implementations support enterprise governance, auditability, and compliance
- Collaborate with security and governance teams to embed controls into user workflows
- Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate closely with GenAI & Data Architects, AI engineers, backend and platform teams, QA, product, and delivery teams
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, and demos
- Provide design and frontend engineering guidance to junior UI/UX engineers
Qualifications
- 710 years of experience in UI/UX design and frontend engineering for enterprise or product-led platforms
- Proven experience delivering production-grade web applications in complex environments
- Strong experience working on data-intensive or AI-driven applications
- Expert proficiency in Figma and strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product impact
- Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven development, and state management
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data workflows
- Familiarity with AI-driven UX patterns such as chat interfaces, copilots, and dashboards
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment (Azure preferred), and frontend observability
- Understanding of performance optimization, accessibility standards, and web security best practices
- Strong user-centric and design-thinking mindset
- Ability to translate complex AI outputs into clear, actionable user experiences
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical team
- Strong ownership mentality with focus on quality, usability, and long-term maintainability
