Roles & Responsibilities:
Design the Educator Journey based on historical data, insights and future-focused learning experience trends and practices.
- Review the new Learning Experience Framework for Youth program; the TDW paper; Past years approach to Educator Development and conceptualize a blended learning journey for Educators
- Critically assess and reimagine the role of the educator based on the 3C model in TDW paper while conceptualizing the journey
- Co-design the outcomes and impact framework for Educators in the Youth Program
- Co-design the pre-training, training and post-training process for the Educator Development program, to effectively achieve the program outcomes
Delivery of Educator Training as per annual goals of the Program, with differential
State-wise strategies
- Work closely with the identified personnel/POC from Focus States for mobilization and other requirements for enrolment Iterate the central training design to suit regional needs
- Plan and share a training calendar with State or regional POC and initiate communication with internal and external stakeholders in consultation with LE Leads.
- Train and build the capacity of State Facilitators to lead the delivery of the program and effectively achieve the program outcomes
- Identify and empanel consultants if needed to deliver key sessions.
- Manage the SOPs, contracts and payments for all empanelled consultants.
- Support in preparation and planning required to implement the capacity-building workshops - venue, reading material, facilitator availability, logistics, etc
Design and monitoring of post-training capacity building activities for Educators
- Articulate the Key Questions to be answered to make data driven decisions for Educator Development. Identify data points to be studied, Analyze the data to build strong feedback loops between State teams, and LE teams, to develop a strong post-training learning environment for educators.
- Develop monitoring systems to ensure the sustainability of the training inputs translated as behaviors.
- Ensure all the gender indicators are upheld during all the webinars, training sessions, and through all stages of program implementation.
Co-Anchor Content Development, Design, and related Coordination for Educator
Development offerings in the Youth Program
- Identify the content development needs of the Educator program in print and digital format
- Explore innovative digital communication strategies (IVRS, chatbots, whatsapp groups and other future focused trends) to promote engagement and commitment in educators to create change
- Support in building content collaterals for print and digital campaigns for the same.
Co-Anchor all the educator initiatives in the Regions with State Team
- Manage the LE SPOCs for the All Regions, to ensure smooth delivery of all LE initiatives (training, post-training support etc)
- Uphold the quality of LE initiatives, and drive its implementation via the LE SPOCs.
- Lead Training needs analysis, Training design, Training delivery, Impact and quality management and Post-training capacity building for educators
- Contribute to innovations for educator capacity building through ed tech tools, adult learning principles, systemic advocacy, systems change frameworks etc
Others
- Reporting & documentation for all Educator focused initiatives (as and when required) such as monthly, quarter reviews, annual reviews
- Support members identify their growth plan through feedback processes and set professional learning goals for the year
- Work closely with other vertical managers to promote and facilitate inter-vertical collaborations, learning, fun, conflict resolution and need-based resource sharing.
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of work experience, in implementing blended learning content for youth
- Prior experience in training development and implementation
- Willingness to learn and influence prevalent practices in the education ecosystem
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to train, build capacity of, and manage relationships with partner NGOs
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English (preferred)
- Excellent IT skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams
Salary: The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 75,000/- per month (cost to company) ( The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
