Job Summary
The Manager - Trading (Fertilizers) will lead Urea tender participation and B2B sales of water-soluble and speciality fertilizers, while managing the sales department and overseeing both tender and asset management functions. The role requires strong expertise in international fertilizer trading, government tender processes, and commercial operations to drive business growth and ensure efficient execution of trading activities.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Participate and lead government tenders for Urea, including documentation, compliance, bid preparation, and submission.
- Drive B2B sales for water-soluble and speciality fertilizers in domestic and international markets.
- Manage and grow the sales department, ensuring sales targets and profitability goals are met.
- Execute Tender Management such as coordination, submission, follow-ups, contract execution, and compliance.
- Oversee Asset Management, stock allocation, inventory monitoring, vessel/cargo coordination, and utilization of physical assets.
- Build and maintain relationships with international fertilizer import/export companies and trading partners.
- Conduct market analysis, price evaluation, competitor tracking, and identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee end-to-end trade operations, pricing, negotiation, logistics, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, suppliers, and government bodies as required.
Mandatory Requirements
- BBA / (MBA preferred).
- Experience in government tender participation for Urea.
- Hands-on experience in B2B fertilizer sales (water-soluble / speciality fertilizers).
- Proven background in international fertilizer trading (import/export).
- Experience in Tender Management and Asset/Inventory handling.
- Ability to manage a sales team and deliver commercial results.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and market analysis skills.
