About the Opportunity
StorySideUp is conducting a search for a Manager, Total Rewards for a BFSI organisation based in Delhi NCR. The role covers both strategy and execution across compensation, benefits, rewards governance, and people cost planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the total rewards framework and compensation philosophy for the organisation
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for people costs — headcount budgeting, compensation planning, and variance tracking in partnership with Finance
- Drive compensation talent strategy — linking pay structures to talent acquisition, retention, and internal equity goals
- Build and maintain a compensation analytics practice — dashboards, cost modelling, pay equity analysis, and trend reporting for leadership
- Lead compensation benchmarking using survey data (Aon, Mercer, WTW or equivalent) and track market best practices to keep the organisation competitive
- Design and manage variable pay, incentive plans, and sales compensation structures
- Run the annual compensation review cycle — budgeting, modelling, and implementation
- Manage the employee benefits portfolio including vendor management, renewals, and cost optimisation
- Support HRBPs and business heads on compensation decisions, offer benchmarking, and retention inputs
- Ensure statutory compliance and internal governance on all compensation matters
- Maintain job evaluation frameworks and grade architecture
Candidate Profile
- 7–10 years in Compensation and Benefits, with experience in BFSI or a regulated financial services environment
- Prior involvement in AOP and people cost budgeting cycles
- Hands-on experience with compensation analytics — comfortable building models, dashboards, and presenting data to senior stakeholders
- Experience with at least one major compensation survey platform (Aon Radford, Mercer, WTW) and knowledge of benchmarking methodology
- Strong Excel modelling skills
- Familiarity with job evaluation methodologies (Mercer IPE, Hay, or similar)
- Postgraduate degree in HR or Business from a reputed institution
