Role: Threat Hunter Netscout
Location: Jaipur
Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT
Experience: 8-9 YEARS
Certification: CEH/CSA
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive threat-hunting activities using Netscout and related network visibility tools.
- Analyse network telemetry, packet data, and alerts to identify anomalous activities.
- Investigate suspicious traffic patterns, malware communication, and lateral movement.
- Work closely with SOC teams to enrich incidents and provide actionable threat intelligence.
- Develop new hunting hypotheses and detection logic based on evolving threats.
- Create and maintain threat-hunting reports, dashboards, and documentation.
- Participate in root cause analysis and recommend security improvements.
Skills & Competencies
- Educational Qualification should be B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT with 6+ years relevant experience
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
- Hands-on experience with Netscout or similar network monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of threat landscape, MITRE ATT&CK, and incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced SOC environment.
- Good Analytical & Problem Solving skills
- Able to communicate with technical staff/management
- Flexible to work after office and over weekend if required
- Highly motivated & customer centric
