Job Summary: Tendering (Medium Voltage Switchgear)
A highly organized and results-oriented professional responsible for leading the tendering function for medium voltage switchgear projects. The Senior Manager - Tendering will oversee the complete bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to final submission, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals. This role requires strong leadership, technical understanding of switchgear systems, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver strategic and timely bids that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the tendering process for medium voltage switchgear projects, ensuring timely and accurate bid submissions.
- Prepare detailed tender documentation including technical and commercial Estimates.
- For Mega Project Collaborate with engineering, procurement, finance, and legal teams to gather inputs and ensure bid completeness.
- Monitor and manage changes in tender scope, timelines, and pricing using structured verification and approval processes.
- Analyze tender performance and provide insights to senior leadership for continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with tendering and project execution.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all tendering activities.
- Foster collaboration across departments to ensure high-quality and competitive proposals.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and client specification
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in tendering or project management within the medium voltage switchgear or electrical equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of switchgear systems, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
- Strong understanding of numerical relay ,VCB and CT/PT.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex tendering processes.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, strategic thinking, and decision-making.
What Will You Do

- Own and manage the end-to-end tendering process for medium voltage switchgear projects, from bid strategy to final submission.
- For Big Project Collaborate with engineering, procurement, finance, and legal teams to develop technically sound and commercially competitive proposals.
- Analyze client specifications and tender documents to define scope, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments to support bid decisions.
- Ensure all submissions meet client expectations, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
- Maintain organized documentation and records for audit and reference purposes.
- Act as a key liaison between the tendering team and senior leadership, providing updates and strategic insights.
- Track tender performance metrics and continuously improve processes for efficiency and accuracy.
