Headquartered in Navi Mumbai, HSA offers services including architecture, interior design, master planning, engineering, project management consultancy, and assistance with statutory approvals, creating spaces that promote a higher quality of life.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai for a Manager of Tendering and Business Development. The primary responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of the tendering process, preparing competitive tender documents, leading procurement activities, and strategising to maximise business development opportunities.

Tender Identification and Opportunity Tracking

·       Identify and evaluate relevant tenders from government and private procurement portals.

·       Monitor tender platforms, submission timelines, corrigendums, and eligibility requirements.

·       Maintain trackers for ongoing, upcoming, and submitted tenders.

Bid Documentation and Submission Management

·       Review tender documents, RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs to understand submission requirements.

·       Prepare and compile technical and commercial bid submissions.

·       Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submissions through e-procurement portals.

·       Track EMDs, tender fees, documentation validity, and submission deadlines.

Coordination and Stake Holder Management

·       Coordinate with internal teams for technical, financial, legal, and operational inputs required for submissions.

·       Liaise with consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and clients for documentation, quotations, and clarifications.

·       Manage post-bid queries and submission-related communication.

Business Development Support

·       Support business development efforts through market research and opportunity mapping.

·       Assist in preparation of company profiles, capability statements, presentations, and prequalification documents.

·       Maintain records and analytics of submitted, awarded, and unsuccessful bids.

Documentation and Reporting

·       Maintain organized records of tenders, submissions, contracts, and correspondence.

·       Prepare periodic reports on bid participation, submission status, and success ratios.

Required Competencies

·       Strong knowledge of tendering and bid management processes.

·       Familiarity with government procurement portals and e-tendering systems.

·       Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills.

·       Ability to manage multiple deadlines with high attention to detail.

·       Proficiency in MS Office and online tender submission systems.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tender Management and Tender Preparation to effectively oversee the development of high-quality proposals and bids
  • Skills in Procurement and ability to coordinate procurement processes while ensuring compliance with organizational objectives
  • Experience in Sales to identify and secure new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
  • A background in Project Management to align tendering activities with project goals and operational deliverables
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with the architecture, design, or construction industry is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, architecture, or a related field; master's degree is a plus
