Manager – Telecom Asset Recovery, Repair, Refurbishment & InventoryRole Purpose

We are looking for an exerienced Manager – Telpecom Asset Recovery, Repair, Refurbishment & Inventory to manage end-to-end operational activities related to telecom asset recovery, inventory management, repair, refurbishment, asset reconciliation, MIS reporting, and commercial operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Telecom Operations / Asset Management, along with hands-on expertise in MIS, Advanced Excel, Inventory Control, Commercial Operations, and cross-functional coordination.

The role will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, improving asset utilization, maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring repair/refurbishment performance, and supporting business profitability.

Key Responsibilities1. Telecom Asset Recovery & Operations

• Manage end-to-end telecom asset recovery operations and ensure timely movement of recovered assets.
• Monitor the complete asset lifecycle from recovery to warehouse, inspection, repair, refurbishment, reuse, deployment, or scrap.
• Track asset recovery performance, productivity, TAT, and operational KPIs.
• Coordinate with field teams, operations teams, vendors, and customers for smooth execution.
• Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve recovery efficiency.

2. Repair & Refurbishment Operations

• Monitor the repair and refurbishment process of telecom equipment/assets.
• Track incoming, under-repair, repaired, refurbished, rejected, damaged, and scrap assets.
• Monitor repair/refurbishment TAT, productivity, quality, rejection, and output.
• Coordinate with technical/repair teams to ensure timely completion of repair and refurbishment activities.
• Support process improvements to increase asset recovery and reuse value.

3. Telecom Inventory Management

• Manage and monitor inventory of recovered, repaired, refurbished, usable, damaged, and scrap telecom assets.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and regular physical/system reconciliation.
• Monitor asset movement between recovery locations, warehouses, repair centers, refurbishment centers, and deployment locations.
• Track inventory ageing, discrepancies, shortages, excess stock, and asset status.
• Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all asset movements.

4. MIS & Data Analytics

• Prepare and manage Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for telecom operations.
• Develop management dashboards and KPI reports covering:
• Asset Recovery
• Inventory
• Repair & Refurbishment
• TAT
• Productivity
• Billing
• Commercial Performance
• Asset Utilization
• Analyze operational data and provide actionable insights to management.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely submission of all MIS and business reports.
• Drive reporting automation and process improvements using Advanced Excel.

5. Commercial Operations

• Manage billing, invoicing, collections tracking, and commercial documentation related to operations.
• Coordinate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Monitor pending billing, collections, commercial discrepancies, and customer requirements.
• Support cost-control and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customer contracts, SLAs, company policies, and audit requirements.

6. Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with Telecom Operations, Asset Recovery, Warehouse/Inventory, Repair & Refurbishment, Finance, Procurement, Vendors, and Customers.
• Monitor vendor performance and operational deliverables.
• Ensure timely resolution of operational, inventory, billing, and commercial issues.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and follow up on action items.

Preferred Candidate Background

Candidates from Telecom companies, telecom equipment/service organizations, telecom asset recovery, reverse logistics, repair & refurbishment, or telecom supply chain operations will be preferred.

Candidates from non-telecom industries will be considered only if they have strong and directly relevant experience in Asset Recovery + Repair/Refurbishment + Inventory + MIS/Commercial Operations.

Important Note

This is not a basic MIS/Data Entry role. Candidates must have hands-on experience in Telecom Operations/Asset Management along with exposure to Asset Recovery, Repair & Refurbishment, Inventory Management, MIS, and Commercial Operations.

Candidates with only basic Excel/MIS, only Accounts, or only generic Telecom experience without relevant Asset/Inventory/Repair & Refurbishment exposure will not be considered.
