Manager – Technical Training

We seek a technical manager who will lead the Qualys Technical Training team. The Qualys Technical Training team oversees and manages the training process for Qualys customers. As the manager of the Training team, you will manage a team of instructors who teach and build content for Qualys and ensure the training we build aligns with customer goals and values.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing the customer, partner, and internal training process.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders like product management, support, and engineering to update content.
- Overseeing the team and the content built for our security conferences.
- Understanding customer context, overseeing goals, and providing product demos.
- Educating customers and working with the team to optimize their product setup for the quickest path to success.
- Driving speedy content production.
- Accommodating training requests from Sales.
- Providing feedback from customers to our instructors for continual improvement.
- Improving product adoption and customer retention and helping foster positive customer relationships that create a loyal customer base.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in leading a team in customer technical training, enablement, customer service and support, customer success, or similar experience.
- Candidate must have a technical background in cybersecurity, networking, or related technology.
- Experience working on a technical team, such as Technical Support, Enablement, and Customer Success.
- Experience with the Qualys platform as a practitioner, technical seller, sales engineer, subject matter expert, etc.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with continuous threat exposure management (CTEM), asset management, patching, vulnerability/risk management, policy compliance, and configuration management, cloud and application security, and/or threat detection.
- Ability to design learning plans that align with customer objectives.
- Strong analytical and goal-oriented mindset backed by solid project management skills.
- Experience with content development. A major portion of this role includes managing a team that creates self-paced and instructor-led content.
- Working knowledge of popular public cloud services infrastructure offerings such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Prior experience in personally engaging with Enterprise customers.
- Strong communicator – written, verbal, and presentation.
- Excellent emotional intelligence, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
