Position Title

Manager - Technical Expert Asset Management

Position Summary

Key responsibility is to lead, direct, monitor and control asset management activities for Projects to deliver robust, reliable, and sustainable operational performance through best-in-class operational excellence for Renewable Projects.

Experience

  • Experience in renewable energy asset management, O&M, or technical operations
  • Hands-on experience with utility-scale or commercial renewable assets

Technical Skills

  • Performance analysis tools: SCADA, Power BI, Excel, SQL (basic)
  • Engineering tools: PVsyst, WindPRO/WAsP (preferred)
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related engineering
  • Strong technical background in solar PV and/or wind power plants
  • Solid understanding of SCADA, inverters, turbines, transformers, and substations
  • Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards, grid codes, and HSE requirements

Data, Reporting & Stakeholder Support

  • Prepare technical performance reports for management, investors, and lenders
  • Support financial modelling inputs such as PR, availability, and energy forecasts
  • Coordinate with internal teams, EPCs, OEMs, and grid operators

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Asset Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyse solar and wind asset performance using SCADA and monitoring platforms
  • Identify performance deviations, losses, and degradation trends
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
  • Optimize availability, energy yield, and long-term asset value

O&M & Technical Oversight

  • Provide technical oversight to O&M contractors and service providers
  • Review maintenance plans, schedules, and execution quality
  • Evaluate fault reports, corrective actions, and component failures
  • Support warranty, insurance, and OEM claims

Technical Risk & Compliance

  • Manage technical risks across the asset lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with grid codes, safety regulations, and technical standards
  • Support technical audits, inspections, and due diligence activities

Continuous Improvement

  • Support repowering, retrofits, and technology upgrades
  • Evaluate new tools, analytics, and technologies for asset optimization
  • Capture lessons learned and improve asset management processes
