The candidate will be responsible
for leading key and high focus initaitives and drive improvements within Supply
Chain Management including Supplier Management,
Supplier Management
P2P process and tools implementation
Driving Supplier Diversity
SCM Sustainability
- Perform supply market analysis
and review industry reports and trends and share relevant information with
other members of the team, The candidate is also expected to
lead multiple initiatives at same time and should be very well versed with
multi-tasking, priortization, work load balancing depending upon business and
customer needs.
Understands changing business, vendor and
technology landscape in the telecom sector and their potential implications on SCM.
Responsible for recommending strategic alternatives, developing and maintaining
operational plans aimed at improving supply chain effectiveness and efficiency
The candidate should be able to manage
and drive supplier engagements with key stakeholders and arrive at consensus. The
stakeholders may range from Operations, Finance, Tax, Sales and Product. The
candidate should be able to articulate the need of transformation, its importance
and communicate it very effectively to wider audience.
Identification,
development and implementation of ongoing continuous improvement opportunities
based on leading SCM practices
Responsible for identifying pain areas for SCM through root cause
analysis and drive coordination across all business stakeholders to develop
process improvement initiatives. He/ She uses detailed knowledge of procurement
processes to identify process gaps and continuous improvement opportunities to
simplify and streamline SCM processes.
The candidate should be able to put best in class
agile and project management practices in place while driving projects. The
candidate should be confident enough to face and own external and internal
audits and address questions and queries from stakeholders and incorporate
feedback in case of any observation
