About The Role

This is a great opportunity for an exceptional candidate with a strong consulting background to make a transition to an exciting role in

Spirits, luxury consumer goods industry, which is designed as a fast-track career growth platform. Joining Suntory Global Spirits Strategy

team offers several opportunities:

  • You will drive the thinking on strategically important topics to drive Suntory Global Spirits long-term vision of becoming the world's most admired premium spirits company at a time of exciting, disruptive change. The business is moving super-fast and most of your work will either have quick, tangible effect on business operations or set long-term growth foundations
  • There will be high levels of exposure to senior business leaders from the outset (many of whom are experienced international leaders from blue chip FMCG companies and top-tier strategy consultants)
  • You can set a global stage to your career long-term, as you will be involved in work across a vast geographic and functional scope
  • The role will retain some of the elements of consulting work (e.g., fast pace, variety of topics, senior exposure, some degree of travel), but in a way that is more compatible with good work-life balance

The role reports to the Senior Strategy Director for International, India and Global Commercial Excellence, a former BCG Project

Leader and UBS Investment Banker, who in turn reports to the Chief Strategy Officer. The main stakeholders for the day-to-day job will

be the President of Suntory India and the Managing Director of Suntory Global Spirits India. This role is based in the India HQ offices in

Gurugram.

About You

  • 6+ years of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm; a mix of consulting and industry or digital transformation experience is a plus
  • Strong senior leadership stakeholder management, ideally multicultural
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to relay hypotheses/analysis/recommendations in clear, structured way
  • Capacity to tackle abstract problems and develop concrete solutions
  • Proven analytical skillset: ability to efficiently translate analysis to powerful insight and coach others on analytical approach
  • Ability to structure, organize and manage projects or workstreams independently
  • Abilit to engage & influence and mature presence for both verbal and written communications; proficiency in power point
  • Ability to lead projects and/or workstreams, proactively thinking and executing next steps
  • Experience managing or helping developing people is a plus, but not essential (e.g. junior analysts/interns)
