Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to work closely with the Managing Director and Strategy Team. The role involves strategic planning, competitive intelligence, performance tracking, and senior management reporting. This position offers high visibility and exposure to leadership-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Competitive Benchmarking & Industry Tracking

  • Track competitors product features, pricing, capabilities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain updated industry data repositories.
  • Prepare comparative benchmarking dashboards and strategic insights.

2. Senior Management Review & Presentations

  • Prepare Monthly Business Review (MBR) decks for senior leadership.
  • Develop structured, insight-driven presentations for management discussions.
  • Support data-backed storytelling for decision-making.

3. Strategy & Planning

  • Assist in preparation of:
    • Long Range Strategic Plans
    • Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
    • Board / Investor presentations
    • Ad-hoc strategic analysis projects
  • Conduct market research and financial analysis to support strategy formulation.

4. MIS & Performance Reporting

  • Prepare and circulate periodic MIS reports for senior management.
  • Build automated dashboards for tracking KPIs.
  • Analyze performance trends and highlight key risks and opportunities.

5. Business Analytics & Actionable Insights

  • Perform detailed analytics for:
    • Branch Business
    • Retail Business
    • Other Business Verticals
  • Analyze revenue, productivity, customer acquisition, cross-sell, and profitability metrics.
  • Identify performance gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Recommend clear, data-backed actionable insights to improve business performance.
  • Support leadership in driving execution of identified initiatives.

6. Platform & Product Insights

  • Analyze data related to platform/app usage.
  • Generate actionable insights to improve customer engagement and business metrics.
  • Support product strategy through data analysis.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with product, tech, sales, operations, and finance teams.
  • Track project progress and ensure timely updates to leadership.
  • Drive follow-ups on key strategic initiatives.

 

Skills & Competencies Required

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • MS Excel (Pivot tables, financial modeling, dashboards)
    • MS PowerPoint (Executive-level presentation structuring)
    • MS Word
  • Working knowledge of:
    • SQL
    • Python (data analysis / automation preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets / Financial Services industry.

  • Ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification & Experience

  • MBA from a premier institute.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (strategy, consulting, financial services, analytics preferred).
