Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager – Strategy & Business Intelligence to drive data-led decision-making, market intelligence, and strategic execution. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and analytics, requiring strong hands-on data skills along with the ability to influence leadership decisions and drive cross-functional initiatives.
The ideal candidate will come from a high-growth startup or consulting/strategy background with strong analytical depth and experience working on business-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Growth
- Work closely with leadership to define and execute key business priorities
- Identify growth opportunities through data, customer insights, and market analysis
- Lead and execute high-impact strategic initiatives and zero-to-one projects
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights for business decisions
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using SQL and Power BI/Tableau
- Track key performance metrics and provide regular business performance updates
- Perform deep-dive analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor competitors, industry trends, and evolving market dynamics
- Conduct primary and secondary research to understand customer and market behavior
- Translate insights into clear recommendations for product and business strategy
Cross-Functional Execution
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to drive execution
- Support leadership in business reviews, planning cycles, and decision-making
- Ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives across teams
Stakeholder Management
- Present insights, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Communicate complex data in a clear and actionable manner
- Manage alignment across multiple stakeholders and functions
Requirements
Education
- B.Tech from IIT / BITS / NIT or equivalent tier-1 engineering institutes
- MBA from IIM preferred
Experience
- 5–8 years of overall experience
- 2+ years in data analytics, BI, or data-driven decision-making roles
- 4+ years in business strategy, operations, founder's office, or program management roles
- Experience in high-growth startups (Series A and above) preferred
- Proven experience leading zero-to-one initiatives
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
- Strong understanding of business metrics and KPI frameworks
- Exposure to data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools
