Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, PSUs, ministries, and key decision-makers. In this role, you will engage with government officials, secure projects, manage follow-ups, and drive corporate partnerships to expand Nexstellar's impact in the public and private sectors.
What You'll Do:
High-Impact State Liaisoning & Relationship Capital
- Build, nurture, and strategically leverage an active network across Madhya Pradesh State ministries/departments.
- Seamlessly navigate complex state administrative structures to push submitted proposals, clear bureaucratic bottlenecks, and expedite financial and administrative sanctions.
Strategic Opportunity Identification & Revenue Generation
- Actively track, map, and capture upcoming state public sector schemes, departmental budget allocations, Expressions of Interest (EoIs), and RFPs.
- Convert initial government introductory meetings into structured presentation pitches, tailoring Nexstellar's diverse capabilities to align with specific state ministerial mandates.
- Lead end-to-end deal origination—from cold institutional outreach and relationship cultivation to technical pitching, pricing negotiation, and final contract signing.
Targeted Domain Conversion
- Secure contracts for large-scale educational transformation projects. This includes deployingICT Labs and smart classrooms for both government bodies and private educational institutions.
- Target and secure IT, machinery, and software opportunities across various departments, pitching tailored corporate software suites, customised ERP frameworks, and technology infrastructure deployment.
- Capture advisory and Project Management Unit (PMU) opportunities within state departments to design, evaluate, or monitor state and central socio-economic welfare schemes.
- Tap into major MP state PSUs, smart city corporations, and industrial development boards for specialised consulting, capacity building, and infrastructure modernisation projects.
Proposal, Bidding & Compliance Oversight
- Oversee the end-to-end tendering and bidding process for MP government tenders, ensuring all documentation is technically superior, highly competitive, and strictly aligned with state evaluation criteria.
- Ensure all business development, commercial agreements, and procurement interactions adhere strictly to State Financial Rules, GFR norms, and public procurement guidelines.
Who You Are:
- A strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- An experienced professional with at least 5 years in government business development and a deep understanding of PSU and ministry operations.
- You have a proven, active, and accessible network within the state departments/ministries.
- Knowledgeable in public-sector processes, MP state procurement frameworks, GeM portal operations, tendering lifecycles, and fiscal compliance.
