- Serves as point of contact as well as mentor for resolving complicated issues related to vendor management, contract management and category management.
- Provides day-to-day leadership to team members including proactive guidance, troubleshooting support, issue escalation and support.
- Identify training needs.
- Organizes relevant training & refresher sessions for the team.
- Ensures training & developmental plan preparation for all the team members.
- Supports recruiting, staffing, training and on boarding processes as appropriate.
- Assists with performance management processes (e.g., goal setting, performance evaluation, etc.).
- Completes performance evaluations for assigned staff.
- Identifies and mitigates any risks/issues that are foreseen as potential bottlenecks to the process.
