Manager – Strategic Alliances & Programmes (SAP)

UFF invites applications for the role of Manager-Strategic Alliances & Programmes. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a significant impact in Fintech Sector through strategic engagement, and collaborative initiatives. As a Manager-Strategic Initiatives, you will initiate and manage collaborations with key ecosystem entities, including funding agencies, consulting companies, research institutions, think tanks, technology companies etc. and UFF's member relationship, flagship events and sponsorship and donor relationships.
Tasks And Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver strategic alliances and new programs with external stakeholders in Financial Services and Technology space. Create from scratch new projects and ability for end to end management of same under minimal supervision.
- Initiate and manage collaborations with a broad range of ecosystem entities, including funding agencies, consulting companies, knowledge and research institutions, think tanks, technology companies ,conference organisers etc.
- Act as a liaison between UFF and these entities to foster partnerships, joint initiatives, and co-created events.
- Support in organizing and managing UFF events, such as workshops, conferences, and networking sessions, promoting industry interaction and collaboration.
- Represent UFF in various capacities, both internally and externally, to promote and advocate for the association's initiatives and objectives.
- Coordinate with the policy team to ensure that insights from membership and ecosystem collaborations inform UFF's policy advocacy.
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned time to time.
Skills And Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration, Marketing, Public Policy, Finance, or a related field with a professional work experience of preferably 7 years.
- Demonstrated experience in B2B partnership development, relationship management with senior management and generating revenue.
- Reasonably good understanding of the financial inclusion and FinTech landscape and its key players.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to foster strong professional relationships and build networks across diverse entities.
- Proficiency in using AI tools for productivity at work.
- Familiarity with visual designing software such as Photoshop, Coral Draw etc. would be an added advantage.
