Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Inventory Management:Maintaining accurate records of inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling of materials, and managing stock levels to meet production needs.
  • Receiving and Issuing Materials:Overseeing the receipt of raw materials, components, and finished goods, verifying quantities and quality, and issuing materials to production as needed.
  • Coordination and Communication:Collaborating with other departments, including production, procurement, and quality control, to ensure smooth material flow and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Inventory Control and Accuracy:Implementing and maintaining inventory control systems and procedures, ensuring accuracy of inventory records, and conducting regular audits to verify inventory levels.
  • Material Tracking and Documentation:Maintaining accurate records of material movement, including receiving, storage, and issuing, and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Equipment Maintenance:Ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of equipment used in the store, including forklifts, shelves, and other storage equipment.
  • Quality Control:Ensuring that all materials received meet quality standards and are properly stored to maintain their integrity.
  • Safety Compliance:Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures related to storage, handling, and disposal of materials.

Key skills and qualifications needed for the role:

  • Candidate should have experience managing multiple small warehouses or stores in multiple locations pan India.
  • Candidate should have excellent understanding of Inventory module in Tally Prime
  • Candidate should have managed a team of 2-3 people.
