About the role:

We are seeking an SAP Controlling Lead Consultant who will lead the design and implementation of SAP CO solutions in S/4HANA, with a focus on Product Costing, Actual Costing, Margin Analysis, and Material Ledger. The role involves driving accurate costing and profitability processes, ensuring integration with MM, PP, FI, and SD, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders while guiding project teams through full-cycle implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional design and delivery of SAP CO solutions across S/4HANA programs.
• Define and implement product costing and actual costing frameworks aligned to client business models.
• Design and govern Margin Analysis (Account-Based CO-PA) for profitability reporting.
• Configure and manage Material Ledger for actual costing and multi-currency valuation.
• Drive seamless integration between SAP CO and MM, PP, FI, and SD processes.
• Conduct client workshops, solution walkthroughs, and design governance reviews.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Guide offshore and onsite teams, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
• Support testing strategy, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, best practices, and solution accelerators.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Product Costing, Actual Costing, Margin Analysis, and Material Ledger.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end cost flows in manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with global clients and distributed delivery teams.
• Experience working with SAP Activate, Agile, or hybrid delivery models.
• Exposure to S/4HANA Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and reporting.
• Experience in automotive or discrete manufacturing industries is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
