Manager/sr. Manager - Polymer Production

Key Responsibilities & Major Activities

• Production Planning & Control:
• Formulate, schedule, and supervise the entire production process.
• Ensure effective management of production lines.
• Plan production meetings, worker schedules, and machine maintenance.
• Cost & Quality Management:
• Maintain cost-effective and high-quality production standards.
• Optimize raw material and input utilization to reduce production costs.
• Monitor and minimize waste generation.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices.
• Delivery & Customer Satisfaction:
• Ensure 100% OTIF (On-Time In-Full) customer delivery.
• Achieve improvement in conversion costs and product quality.
• Equipment & Process Control:
• Select and maintain production equipment.
• Supervise and enforce product standards and quality control programs.
• Implement contamination control by maintaining operational discipline and clean class standards.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Enforce safety rules and standards across the department.
• Ensure plant operations are ISO certified and environmentally compliant.
• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) in all operations.
• Achieve zero accidents and ensure safety compliance.
• Process Standardization & Improvement:
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor adherence to procedures to ensure first-pass quality.
• Continuously improve process capability and efficiency.
• People Management & Coordination:
• Liaise with internal departments (suppliers, managers, etc.) to avoid delays.
• Lead, supervise, and review performance of production teams.
• Foster employee satisfaction and development.

Educational Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Chemical or Polymer Engineering
