Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced facilities professional with 8+ years of experience to manage workplace and facilities operations for our Bengaluru office. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the workplace, driving service quality, and delivering a high-standard employee experience.
The role requires a proactive professional who can manage critical stakeholders, contribute to new initiatives, and strengthen facilities processes while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end facilities operations including housekeeping, cafeteria services, office maintenance, and workplace support services.
- Ensure smooth functioning of workplace services while maintaining high service standards and a positive employee experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day workplace-related matters in the Bengaluru office.
- Monitor and maintain facility assets, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure operational readiness.
- Manage facility vendors and service partners to ensure service delivery as per agreed SLAs.
- Conduct periodic reviews with vendors to monitor service quality and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimization.
- Engage with internal stakeholders professionally and responsively to address workplace needs.
- Build strong working relationships with business teams to ensure facility requirements are understood and fulfilled.
- Support the establishment and streamlining of facilities management processes for consistent service delivery.
- Contribute to new workplace improvement initiatives that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Support real estate planning, space utilization, and workplace optimization activities.
- Coordinate office infrastructure projects, refurbishments, and workplace improvement works with vendors and project teams.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, workplace policies, and health & safety standards.
- Maintain operational documentation, reporting, and compliance records.
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in facilities or workplace management within corporate environments.
- Proven experience managing corporate workplaces, vendors, and service operations.
- Exposure to real estate support, space utilization, and infrastructure coordination.
- Strong vendor management skills with the ability to negotiate SLAs and drive performance.
- Ability to manage critical internal stakeholders with professionalism and responsiveness.
- Experience in setting up or improving facilities management processes and operational frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and facility management tools/platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to handle dynamic workplace situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) tools or similar platforms.
- Experience with workplace automation or smart building technologies.
- Knowledge of sustainability and green workplace practices.
- Prior experience in a GCC (Global Capability Centre) or shared services environment.
