Manager / Sr. Manager Accounts - Mumbai

Job Purpose

To manage the financial planning, accounting, compliance, and cost-control functions for the port and infrastructure business, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory adherence, and efficient financial operations that support business growth and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare and finalize quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS
• Maintain GL accuracy, asset registers, ledger scrutiny and project accounting records.
• Manage budgeting, variance analysis, and MIS reporting to management.

2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Handle direct and indirect tax compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and port-sector specific regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors (statutory, internal, tax) and ensure timely completion of audits.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST & other applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
• 6–7 years of experience
• Strong understanding of Ind AS, project accounting, taxation, and financial controls.
• Exposure to Tally is must
