Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Manager of Software Engineering and IT. The selected candidate will lead the design and development of software solutions, manage and mentor engineering teams, and oversee complex engineering projects from inception to delivery. The role involves collaborating across teams to ensure the efficiency and scalability of distributed systems, as well as ensuring best practices in software engineering and IT. The Manager will also be responsible for setting project goals, tracking progress, and supporting the professional development of team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Software Development and Software Design
- Strong Team Leadership and mentoring abilities
- Expertise in Project Management, including setting goals, resource planning, and tracking progress
- Knowledge of Distributed Systems and scalable architecture design
- Ability to foster collaboration across development and IT teams
- Experience in managing enterprise-grade projects, especially in automation and testing environments, is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
