Manager- Software Development

Accelya is seeking an experienced Manager - Software Development to guide and coach a team of software developers, providing project management and technical leadership for every aspect of software delivery, from new products to upgrades. You will take a hands-on role in software development, driving excellence and innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare a high-performing software development team.
• Guide and coach software engineers.
• Establish standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality software.
• Understand how products would add value to respective businesses.
• Ensure top-quality design reviews attaining business goals.
• Supervise resource allocation to assure business and personnel development goals.
• Manage and execute software development projects from beginning to finish.
• Evaluate projects, develop and update schedules, plus supervise project status.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience of leading a team (15+ people).
• Proven ability of tackling challenging projects.
• Strong Technical background in software development.
• Experience of working and managing in an Agile environment.
• Highly knowledgeable in engineering processes and methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing.
• Skills:Full Stack Java/NodeJS, JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Generative AI.
• Knowledge of measuring KPIs.
• Knowledge of AWS/cloud computing.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering.

Experience:

• 9-15 years, with experience managing a team of 15+ people.
