We're Hiring: Manager – Social Media Marketing | JioHotStar & Star Maa | Hyderabad

We're looking for a dynamic professional to lead the Social & Influencer Marketing strategy for JioHotstar Telugu and Star Maa – Telugu's leading digital and television channels.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the end-to-end social presence for Star Maa & JioHotstar Telugu across Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, WhatsApp, and other platforms — managing calendars, copy, creatives, community, and content hygiene.
• Build and manage creator/meme partnerships — including scouting, briefing, contracting, compliance, deliverables, ROI tracking, and maintaining a strong Telugu micro-creator network.
• Collaborate with the Insights team to plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns for show launches and tentpoles.
• Track trends and conversations, create real-time/reactive content, manage crisis playbooks, and coordinate with Programming/PR for live moments and UGC drives.
• Define and track KPIs to measure performance, identify hits and misses, and translate insights into data-driven experiments.

What we're looking for:

• 6+ years in social/digital marketing with at least 3 years owning brand handles; TV/OTT/entertainment experience is a strong plus.
• Strong grasp of Telugu language and culture: Native-level proficiency in Telugu (read/write/speak) with strong English skills; excellent understanding of Telugu pop culture and the creator/meme ecosystem.
• Proven influencer/meme marketing track record.
• Hands-on with Meta Business Suite/Ads Manager, Google Ads & YouTube Studio, X Ads, Share Chat/Moj/Josh brand tools, and social-listening platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Talk walker); solid Excel/Sheets/Data Studio skills.
