Role Overview
The Head Talent Acquisition (B2B Sales) will lead end-to-end hiring strategy and execution for large-scale B2B sales recruitment across geographies. The role is responsible for driving high-volume, time-bound hiring while ensuring quality of hire, retention alignment, and cost efficiency.
This role demands strong workforce planning capability, funnel governance expertise, and experience in managing distributed TA teams in bulk sales hiring environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Workforce Planning
- Partner with business leaders to forecast manpower demand
- Develop hiring plans aligned to sales growth targets
- Build hiring capacity models for large-scale B2B sales expansion
Bulk Hiring Execution & Delivery
- Drive closure of frontline and mid-level B2B sales roles within defined TAT
- Establish strong sourcing channels (field sourcing, vendor partnerships, referrals, digital hiring)
- Ensure pipeline strength across all funnel stages
- Maintain closure targets within 30-day TTF benchmark
Funnel Governance & Data Accuracy
- Ensure 98%+ hiring data accuracy across stages
- Monitor aging positions and conversion ratios
- Track offer-to-join ratios and drop-off analytics
- Drive weekly hiring review dashboards with business
Quality of Hire & Retention Alignment
- Embed Job Preview / realistic role clarity in hiring process
- Improve early tenure retention (0180 days)
- Partner with HRBP to analyze attrition trends in sales
- Build structured selection frameworks to improve role fit
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and mentor regional TA teams
- Set performance KPIs (TTF, conversion ratio, cost per hire)
- Build recruiter capability in sales assessment and stakeholder management
Vendor & Cost Management
- Manage recruitment agencies and sourcing partners
- Optimize cost-per-hire
- Negotiate commercial agreements
- Improve ROI on hiring channels
Stakeholder Management
- Act as strategic partner to Sales Leadership
- Drive hiring governance reviews
- Ensure alignment between hiring speed and business productivity
