Qualification / Experience:
- Bachelor in Mechanical / Electrical engineering - 5 to 8 years experience or Diploma 8 to 10 Years
Job Description:
- Define functional test requirements and ensure supplier test according to applicable standards (UL/IEC etc.).
- Qualification of Winding, VPI resin, insulating material & Electrical testing.
- Co-ordinate with various stakeholders including Testing team for internal validation.
- Qualification & Development of new product and supplier (Fasteners & Electrical).
- Conduct supplier Risk assessment & Process audit as per VDA 6.3 std.
- KPI Controlling and Reporting incl. categorization and classification of suppliers.
- Supplier Quality Management (Quality rejection/Complaints, PPM, APQP, PPAP,8D, FMEA, PCP, MSA & SPC).
- Initiate & Co-ordinateContinuous improvement processes at supplier location.
- Coordination of the implementation of the qualification and correction measures at the supplier.
- Ensuring project compliance with the relevant Electrical Codes & Standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Validation & Qualification of Fasteners (Hex Bolt, stud, Pin, Key & others) manufacturing process.
- Provide technical clarification to Fasteners suppliers as per DIN, ISO & Flender norms requirement.
- Maintain approved supplier documents & monitoring quality performance.
Technical Skills & Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in Windmill Generator electrical components qualification.
- Experience in Electrical components manufacturing & connectors.
- Preferred experience/knowledge in Electrical design.
- Knowledge in Electrical components std & Electrical codes (IEC/ UL/ NEC/ NFPA/ ANSI).
- Proficient in Electrical component specification, sizing, selection, and analysis.
- Expert in problem solving tools.
- Supplier Auditing Skills (QMS Auditor, Process Auditor).
- Experience in Fasteners manufacturing.
- Knowledge in GD&T.
- Knowledge in Mechanical properties & Heat treatment.
- Knowledge in Fasteners Std (DIN & ISO).
