We are seeking a diligent and proactive Manager - Security to oversee all aspects of safety and security within assigned areas. This role involves active patrolling, identifying potential hazards, responding to incidents, and ensuring robust documentation and compliance with security procedures. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing and training the security team to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Patrolling & Hazard Identification:
- Patrol assigned areas, actively checking for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity or persons, or safety/fire hazards.
- Investigate and/or report hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to management for correction or follow-up actions; maintain contact with management.
- Incident Response & Reporting:
- Respond to alarms and dispatched calls, deciding on appropriate actions based on the situation, known facts, and position limitations.
- Decide when an incident requires a written report, select the correct report form, and submit it to the supervisor.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain and ensure all security-related documentation / records are kept as per laid down procedures.
- Team Management & Training:
- Manage the security team, providing necessary training for security staff.

- Ability to make quick, sound decisions in response to incidents.

Qualifications
- A Graduate degree, preferably with a diploma in Security, Fire Fighting, and First Aid courses.
