Job Description
The Manager - SAP Project Management will play a crucial role in our SAP PM Competency - Delivery department. They will be responsible for managing and executing SAP projects, from defining scope and managing timelines to coordinating cross-functional teams and driving user adoption. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and communication skills to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, working closely with stakeholders and clients.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and business units, to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
- Handle stakeholder communications, providing regular updates and progress reports.
- Drive user adoption and training, ensuring a smooth transition to new SAP systems.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends, and incorporate best practices into project management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in SAP technologies and a deep understanding of SAP implementation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as required for project implementation and client meetings.
- Certifications in SAP project management or related fields are preferred.
