Role Overview:
The Senior SAP Consultant will lead SAP implementations, configurations, and support for Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Materials Management (MM) modules. The role focuses on optimizing supply chain and manufacturing processes, driving digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Implementation & Configuration
- Lead SAP PP, QM, and MM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
- Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design for manufacturing, procurement, and quality management.
- Configure SAP PP, QM, and MM modules to align with business needs and best practices.
- Collaborate with FI/CO, SD, WM/EWM, and other consultants for seamless integration.
Process Optimization & Support
- Provide guidance on production planning, quality inspections, batch management, and procurement processes.
- Conduct user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot system issues, process gaps, and performance bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with AMS partners for application support and system improvements.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Work on SAP S/4HANA migration projects and ensure smooth transition from legacy systems.
- Stay updated on SAP innovations, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Leverage SAP BTP, Fiori, CDS Views, and third-party integrations to drive process improvements.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage vendor relationships, including SAP service providers and external consultants.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom enhancements, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and SAP best practices.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP PP, QM, and MM implementation, support, and enhancements.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and its impact on PP, QM, and MM modules.
- Hands-on experience with MRP, shop floor control, batch management, quality inspections, and procurement.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end SAP implementation cycles, system upgrades, and support projects.
- Experience with SAP BTP, Fiori, CDS Views, and SAP Best Practices.
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG industries is preferred.
