Position Responsibilities
In order of importance, the primary responsibilities critical to the performance of this position are:
Design and Implementation of SAP Controlling Solutions – 40%
- Design and implement comprehensive solutions for SAP Controlling modules, including rollouts and enhancements.
- Ensure operational efficiency and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Testing, Optimization, Reporting, and Compliance – 20%
- Ensure Testing-Quality Assurance, Process Optimization-Automation, Reporting-Analytics, and Governance-Compliance.
Delivery of WRICEF and Cross-Functional Integration – 20%
- Proficiency in delivering WRICEF objects.
- Ensure seamless cross-functional integration and effective integration with external systems to support streamlined business processes.
Leadership and Team Management – 20%
- Lead and manage the team to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide mentorship to team members, supporting their skill development, growth, and effective team integration.
Organizational Relationships
This position will regularly interact with the following internal and external stakeholders:
- Business stakeholders to gather integration requirements, understand processes, and align integration solutions with business goals.
- Project teams for SAP project planning, risk assessment, and scheduling.
- External vendors or partners providing software or services that integrate with SAP systems.
- Implementation partners responsible for deploying, configuring, or maintaining integrated solutions within the Zoetis IT environment.
- Developers and technical team members to implement integration solutions, share knowledge, and resolve technical challenges.
Education and Experience
Education (Required):
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or a professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant.
Experience (Required):
- 12+ years of relevant experience in SAP Controlling and domain expertise.
- Hands-on experience in 2+ S/4HANA Controlling implementations.
- Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Expertise in Implementation, Migration, and Production Support projects.
- Deep understanding of Product Costing, Material Ledger, Cost Center, Cost Element, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Project Systems, and COPA.
- Experience in facilitating Business Process Workshops and conducting Fit/GAP analysis.
- Proficient in identifying and managing RICEFW objects.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Practical knowledge of testing methodologies, incident/change management, and project documentation tools.
- Demonstrated experience in international IT practices including project management, service delivery, and large-scale project implementations.
Technical Skills Requirements
Required technical competencies include:
- Expertise in the design and configuration of the following Controlling modules:
- Cost Element and Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting and Profitability Analysis
- Production Costing and Material Ledger
- Intercompany processes
- Knowledge and exposure to SAP Finance modules.
- Experience integrating SAP CO with modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and SD (Sales and Distribution).
- Practical experience with FICO User Exits, BAPIs, Function Modules, and coordination with ABAP developers.
- Experience creating custom and standard cost reports using SAP reporting tools such as Report Painter, SAP Analytics Cloud, and BW.
Physical Position Requirements
- Regular working hours are 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM EST (ICC Second Shift).
- Additional time overlap with the EST time zone may be required during production go-live or critical project phases.
