Job Purpose
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, developing client relationships, and achieving sales targets across rooms, banquets, events, corporate business, memberships, and hospitality services. The role focuses on expanding market presence while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining Brigade Hospitality's brand standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify and acquire new corporate, MICE, travel agent, and leisure business.
- Generate leads through networking, client visits, referrals, and market research.
- Build long-term relationships with key clients and business partners.
Sales & Revenue Management
- Achieve room nights, banquet, F&B, and event revenue targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and market analysis reports.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Client Relationship Management
- Conduct regular client meetings, hotel presentations, and site inspections.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and customer database.
- Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries, proposals, and contracts.
- Resolve guest and client concerns professionally.
Coordination
- Work closely with Operations, Banquets, F&B, Front Office, and Finance teams for smooth event execution.
- Ensure seamless communication from enquiry to event completion.
- Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, networking events, and sales campaigns.
Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Update CRM and maintain accurate sales records.
- Monitor conversion ratios and business performance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in hospitality sales, with at least 2 years in a Sales Manager role.
- Experience in hotel, resort, club, or premium hospitality sales is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong corporate and MICE sales experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Good knowledge of hospitality sales, revenue generation, and market trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
