Amazon's Financial Risk Mitigation (FRM) team works to ensure that bad actors cannot profit from using our services to abuse Customers, Selling Partners or our Store. We are looking for an elite People Manager to disrupt bad actor behaviors and generate insights to help us understand where bad actors are prioritizing their efforts.

You will be responsible for managing a team of Individual Contributors that holistically review accounts for fraudulent or counterfeit abuse, deep dive supply chains and verify seller identities in-person. In addition to being responsible for achieving and exceeding team's defined metrics through rigorous performance management, you will be expected to participate in strategic planning and project road mapping activities of the team. You will help drive intelligence initiatives targeting new and emerging fraud threats to Amazon and handle complex escalations. You will collaborate with multiple global teams on our roadmap and leverage the existing mechanisms, or create new ones to reach our goals. You will act as an advocate on behalf of the team to prioritize the work with stakeholders.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and new opportunities. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work with various stakeholders to identify issues, analyze root causes, and drive for improvement.

Key job responsibilities
. Manage a team of of Individual Contributors
. Manage and respond to senior leadership escalations through well-structured presentations and documentation, providing clear, actionable solutions while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
. Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen risk management practices across the organization
. Manage individual and team performance expectations and goals, monitoring real time service levels and schedule adherence, and holding theirs teams accountable to meet and exceed performance targets.
. In collaboration with senior leadership Leads annual strategic planning processes, manages key reporting mechanisms including monthly goal tracking and business reviews
. Execute comprehensive process analyses, encompassing time-motion studies, safety assessments and cost-impact analyses
. Conduct thorough operational assessments of processes and systems, identifying root causes and developing solutions in partnership with key stakeholders
. Monitor key performance metrics for productivity and quality and provide guidance to constantly meet and exceed goals.
. Develop employees and their skill sets to expand the team capabilities and provide growth opportunities for future Amazon leaders.
. Apply risk management best practices to mitigate issues, identify operational inefficiencies and improve processes.
. Partner with cross functional teams across Amazon for collaboration on fraud risks and investigations.
. Strive for operational excellence and process improvement. Analyze the key levers of the business to identify the trends and proactively act to eliminate root causes for defects

About FDAP Team:
Funds Disbursement Appeals Process program operates with a clear mission to protect marketplace integrity through strategic funds management. Our primary objective is to prevent disbursements to bad actors who utilize inauthentic identities, submit falsified documentation, or engage in illegal activities. While executing this mission, we maintain strict adherence to regulatory reporting requirements and ensure our actions remain publicly defensible, particularly in litigation scenarios.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience with MS Office, MS Excel, and data retrieval languages
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of people management, or 3+ years of management experience
