This position is for Salesforce's CRM Analytics Organization. CRM Analytics product is one of our most exciting product offerings ever. It provides an integrated analytics and AI experience within Salesforce's CRM workflow, and is a key part of Salesforce Customer 360. Currently, we are on a journey to develop revolutionary analytic capabilities that will help define the Salesforce next-generation analytics platform on Data Cloud and cement Salesforce as a leader in the BI & Analytics industry. The platform will enable Salesforce and our partners to build intelligent analytics applications, removing the barriers between insights and actions until all applications are intelligent.

Role Description:
As a member of our Release Engineering team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling the rollout of new features and patch updates. You'll collaborate daily with world-class engineers, DevOps, QA, and product teams across Salesforce. You have the following skillsets:

Have In-depth understanding of release or project management. You can manage complex releases.
Develops and shares Subject Matter Expertise, best practices and business knowledge with immediate external partners
Thorough understanding of release pipelines, branching strategies, CI/CD automation, configuration management, testing, and risk mitigation
Knows the Business at Business Behind the Cloud Level, understanding risks and tradeoffs
Sporadic need to cover business critical releases out of regular business hours.
Continuously improve release management practices by implementing automation and modern DevOps techniques.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and governance for all releases
Maintain documentation for release processes, schedules, and RCA's.
Ability to maintain calm under pressure


Required Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of experience in IT with at least 3+ years in Release or Configuration Management.
5+ years of experience in Release/Program Management
Proven ability to manage complex releases and align multi-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience in Agile methodologies, AWS and documentation practices.
Self-starter, who can work independently, able to learn quickly, meets deadlines and demonstrates problem-solving skills.
Experience with cloud technology including GCP, AWS and/or Azure
Previous technical experience with release pipelines, CI/CDis an added advantage
Experience working with global teams across multiple regions (Europe, APAC, Americas) is a plus.
