This is a critical for the regional key accounts exports business.

The position holder will sell company's products to new clients or assigned accounts. Visits clients, assesses client needs, improves brand awareness, and suggests appropriate products. Ensures effective implementation of marketing and sales plans. Responds to enquiries, negotiates sales and concludes sales orders.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage regional key export accounts within the assigned region, ensuring consistent growth and retention.
  • Build long-term partnerships with strategic customers (FMCG, Pharma, Food & Beverage brands).
  • Work closely with R&D and operations to offer customized packaging solutions.
  • Drive pricing negotiations, contract renewals, and business development initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Develop account-specific strategies and sales plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Support innovation and product trials at customer end to drive product adoption.
  • Liaise with supply chain for timely order delivery and inventory planning.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within the product portfolio.

Profile

  • Strong experience in B2B key account management in the packaging industry.
  • Commercially astute with a strong customer relationship orientation.
  • High level of ownership and ability to operate independently.
  • Good understanding of flexible packaging formats and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.

Pre-requisites

  • 812 years of experience in Flexible Packaging or related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/Packaging/Science; MBA preferred.
  • Proven success in managing large accounts with year-on-year growth.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and data-driven account planning.
