The role reports to the Head of Quality Assurance and is accountable for driving the implementation of Quality Programs within Abbott Nutrition's Affiliate Quality Assurance function. It is responsible for leading vendor surveillance quality audits, ensuring audit readiness across the India Affiliate, and supporting regional initiatives aimed at enhancing overall quality performance.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Align audit dates in consultation with GSQA, Procurement and TechOps. Conduct audits as per the agreed audit method. Share audits report to the supplier within 30 days of closing meeting. Receive CAPA plan from the supplier within 30 days.

Lead Audit readiness initiatives ensuring any time audit readiness. Review Quality system audit preparedness plan and recommend necessary measures for improvements. Review Affiliate Quality system index and ensure target achievement as defined by Affiliate QA. Review and maintain updates of Self-assessment guides or other tools used for Audit readiness. Implement best practices learned across AN Global Quality network. Lead end to end process of AAAP audit impact assessment and ensure implementation of appropriate mitigation plan to relevant areas. Share learning from other Affiliate audits to relevant stakeholders. Co-ordinate AAAP audit related activities under guidance of Affiliate QA head.
Ensure product finishing compliance with required facility approvals and local regulations. Initiate new projects in collaboration with the supply chain team. Establish and periodically review Quality Technical Agreements with suppliers. Build capability for the APF process across teams and partners. Review and strengthen the product release process. Manage nonconformances through effective analysis and corrective actions.
Review and approve CAPA submissions from affiliates to ensure alignment with regional quality standards and global procedures. Provide guidance to affiliates on CAPA quality, root cause analysis, and effectiveness checks. Monitor CAPA trends across the region to identify systemic issues and drive preventive actions. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely CAPA closure and escalation when required. Support continuous improvement by sharing best practices and strengthening CAPA competence across affiliates. Ensure GIAR process is effectively carried out for PA region.
