About the Role
We are seeking a Manager – Quality Assurance to lead and scale the organization's QA function across applications, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. This role owns quality strategy, test governance, automation direction, and delivery outcomes, while managing QA teams and partnering closely with engineering, cloud, product, and business stakeholders across India and the US. The manager will ensure high-quality, reliable, and secure technology releases during ongoing modernization and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- QA Strategy & Governance: Define and implement enterprise QA strategy, standards, and best practices across manual and automated testing.
- People & Delivery Management: Lead, mentor, and manage QA engineers and leads; plan capacity, prioritize work, and ensure delivery accountability.
- Test Planning & Execution: Oversee test planning, execution, and sign-off for applications, integrations, data platforms, and cloud systems.
- Automation Leadership: Drive test automation strategy across UI, API, and regression layers.
- Release & Quality Assurance: Partner with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality gates are enforced across CI/CD pipelines.
- Defect Management: Own defect lifecycle, root-cause analysis, and quality metrics.
- Performance & Non-Functional Testing: Ensure performance, security, and reliability testing are embedded in delivery cycles.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with US and India stakeholders to align quality goals with business priorities.
- Reporting & Metrics: Provide executive-level quality dashboards, release readiness reports, and trend analysis.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and drive improvements to reduce defects, rework, and production incidents.

- API Testing: Postman, REST Assured

- Performance Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner
- Data Validation: SQL, basic database testing (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- ITSM: ServiceNow (defect, incident coordination)
- Reporting: Excel, Power BI
Preferred Skills
- Cloud & Application Context: Experience testing applications hosted on AWS and Azure.
- Microservices & APIs: Quality validation in microservices-based architectures.
- Security Testing Exposure: Understanding of security testing and vulnerability validation.
- ERP & Enterprise Systems: Experience testing ERP platforms such as Yardi, Pega, or Appian.
- Agile & Scaled Delivery: Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments.
- Performance Testing: Tools such asApache JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6.
- Penetration Testing: Familiarity withBurp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Nessus.
- Chaos Testing: Experience withGremlin, Chaos Monkey, LitmusChaos, Azure Chaos Studio.
- Synthetic Testing: Use of Dynatrace Synthetic Monitoring, Datadog Synthetics, New Relic Synthetics, Pingdom.
- Gen AI / Classic AI Testing: Testing prompts, Agents, MCPs etc,.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 10+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years exclusively managing people, technology, and delivery in QA or quality engineering roles.
- Proven experience leading QA teams in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience working with global delivery teams and US stakeholders.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, SAFe Agilist preferred.
